The first Ichiban Sushi outlet opened at Plaza Senayan

Ta Wan’s first outlet launched at Mega Mall Pluit (now Pluit Village)
2003
Ta Wan made its expansion debut outside Jakarta at Tunjungan Plaza, Surabaya
2007
Ta Wan ventured beyond Java island to Sulawesi at Manado Town Square
2011
Ta Wan opened its door to Kalimantan at Plaza Balikpapan

The first Ta Wan outlet in Sumatra opened in Medan

Ichiban Sushi’s mascot, a polar bear named “Ichikuma” was introduced as a symbol of happiness derived from enjoying a meal at Ichiban Sushi
